Position and vineyards
Marly hilly soil: East-facing mid-hill vineyards. Vines trained with a modified Sylvoz system, 4,000 vines per hectare.
By hand, towards mid October; 60-65 quintals per hectare.
The wine ferments in steel for around 12 days in contact with the skins. After is separated from the skins, the wine is left to refine, again in steel, for around 19 months.
4,5-5 g/l (complete malolactic fermentation)
Intense ruby red colour, characteristic herbal bouquet, rustic and penetrating with a hint of raspberry. As it evolves, the herbal note is balanced by a remarkably complex bouquet.
